NUTRITION VS. SKIN - HK BOY SCOUTS WEBINAR
For their Nutrition focus unit, the HK Boy Scouts of America invited us to speak on topics such as, how skin can be affected by what you eat, and why the health of your gut microbiome matters. We presented to a total of 20 scouts.
SKIN AND SELF-PERCEPTION - HK CENTRAL CHURCH
We had the opportunity to present to the Powerwave Youth within Hong Kong Central Church and discussed how your skin can affect self-perception and mental health. We touched on subjects regarding the influence of media and importance of self-care.
STIGMA AWARENESS - HKIS MIDDLE SCHOOL
We recently started a workshop curriculum with middle school health classes at Hong Kong International School. So far, we've discussed how stigma is formed, how to combat it, and the importance of skin normalization.
